Diaz played a drag queen in Stonewall

Scandal wasn’t the actor’s first role.  He’s been working hard since 1994.  Guillermo Diaz played La Miranda, a drag queen, in the 1995 film Stonewall.  The comedy drama documents the weeks leading up to the Stonewall riots.  The riots took place in 1969 in New York City.  A police raid of the Stonewall Inn, a gay club in Greenwich Village, turned violent after members of the LGBT community began rioting against police.
