Faizon Love from “Friday” and “Elf” has been arrested for a brutal attack that was caught on tape in a video released by Columbus Regional Airport Authority. No, it wasn’t because Smokey has been playing with his money! The fight was apparently about “respect”.
On Wednesday, March 8, Faizon Love got into a fight with a valet at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The comedian was arguing with the airport worker when he got mad, grabbed the valet by the back of his head and violently slammed him into the wall. As you can see by the video below, that looked like it really hurt!
Coworkers came to the employees rescue and then Love was arrested by authorities and let out on a $2,000 bond. Thankfully the 24-year old employee only suffered a cut above his eye. It is unknown what the two got into it about but according to the star’s tweets it may have been over respect.
Faizon Love took to Twitter as soon as the news broke to say “I’m only human no matter how many good days, I’m due to have a bad one, with that being said, I’m big on respect,” the actor then added “You don’t have to respect me just don’t disrespect me.”
The 48-year-old actor, that’s scheduled to perform at an Ohio comedy club next week, is usually pretty mild-mannered but today was clearly not the day to cross him. What do you think happened?
